Random Sets Volleyball-Lansing
Spring session is on Tuesday nights at 6pm. Everyone signs up solo, and teams are randomly picked the first night of the league. You must pass a skills assessment on April 28th or May 5th in order to be eligible for the draft.
Ages
Must be 18 years old to play in any GAAY Sports League on the day the league begins.

Practices
There are no formal practices. Some teams may choose to meet on their own.
Games
You will play two matches per week. Each match is best 2-of-3 sets. You play to 25, win by 2 points with a cap at 30 points. The third set is only played if necessary and is played to 15, win by 2, capped at 21 points.
Jerseys
This league does not get shirts for participants since we don't know what team anyone is on until the first week. Hence the lower cost to register.
Spring 2026
Everyone signs up solo for this league, and teams are drawn out of a hat on the first night. Stricter on carries and lifts in this league. Since there is more ground to cover with only 4 people, we do require a certain skill level to play in this league.
NEW THIS YEAR
To maintain this elevated level of play, a skills assessment must be completed before the first night of the league to determine if you are eligible to play. You must serve 10 balls, set 10 balls, and pass 10 balls, and successfully complete 20 out of 30 in order to be eligible to play.
If you do not pass the skills assessment you will be refunded 100%.
