Refund Policies

Refund policies for each program are listed below. If you have any questions about these policies please contact the club treasurer.

BOCCE & BBQ BASH

All proceeds will go towards paying for the potluck and prizes; therefore, no refunds will be given for this event.

PICKLEBALL

Refunds (minus processing fees) may be given up until seven days before the start of the league. After that, no refund can be given. Insurance is offered for purchase for this league, which would protect you if an injury prevented you from playing, or if you lost your job, and many other scenarios.

Bowling

You are elgible for a refund up until 1 week before the league starts.

LGBTQIA+ Family BBQ

This is a free event.

Billiards

A refund can be given up until 7 days before the league begins. After that, we will only allow an exchange of registration. Meaning, if you find someone else to fill you spot in the league, we will refun you. If not, your re

Capital City Dragon Boat Race

The funds benefit the Women's Center of greater Lansing. We have a set cost for the organization to have the boat int he race, so we can not issue a refund, however, we will allow you to transfer you spot to someone else. So if you sign up and can't participate for some reason, you can find someone else to take your spot and they just pay you back.

Dodgeball

A full refund can be given up until 10 days before the league starts. Less than ten days, and a $10 cancellation fee will be charged to cover the cost of the t-shirt, and once the league has begun, no refunds will be given.

Swing w/Pride Golf Scramble

A refund may be given up until 7 days before the event. After that, all donations are final.

Volleyball - Sand

A refund is available up until a week before the start of the league; after that, we are unable to offer a refund.

Kickball

Full refund up until shirts have been ordered for the league (typically two weeks prior). Full refund minus $15 if shirts have been ordered. No refunds once the league has started.

INDOOR GOLF SCRAMBLE

You can request a full refund up until two weeks before the event.

NCAA Bracket Challenge

This is a freebie. The winner of each bracket (men's and women's) will receive a gift certificate to The Berry Pick'n Baker.

Fantasy Football

There are no refunds for Fantasy Football. If you want out, you must get out before the draft and find someone to replace you.

Kiss My GAAY Axe

You are eligible for a refund up until the day league starts. Once the league starts, no refund will be given.

Volleyball - Indoor

A refund may be given up until ten days before the start of the league. After that, a refund minus $10 will be given, and once the leagues starts, no refund will be given.

Big GAAY Holiday Extravaganza

The event itself is free to attend, just bring a passing dish. If you choose to participate in the corn hole tournament, Mariocart tournament, and/or basketball sharp shooter contest, each of those requires a $10 non-refundable donation.

Bump, Set, Slay

Registration fees are not refundable, but may be transferred if you find a team to replace you.

Lansing (test)

We do not offer refunds for leagues. We do offer registration insurance, which you can then apply for a refund from in the event you have an injury or some other life event that prevents you from being able to play.

Pickleball

The event is a fundraiser for GAAY Sports, a 501c3 non-profit whose mission is to provide safe spaces for the LGBTQIA+ Community to enjoy recreational sports. All of the proceeds raised will go to support that mission here in Michigan. So if you register and cannot make the tournament, rest assured, your donation is going to a good cause.

Quarterly Cornhole Tournament

You may receive a refund (minus processing fees) up to one week before the tournament. After that, no refunds will be given.
