Who Gives A Split
This is our winter league. It is a traditional 10-pin league. The number of weeks varies by location. We are not sanctioned by the USBC so bowlers establish a handicap after week 1. For league scoring we use the sum of all four bowlers actual score plus their handicaps. You may sign up as a team of four (you may add a 5th bowler and rotate weeks so you have a set substitute when people miss weeks) or as an individual and we will add you to a team. It's a great way to meet new friends!
Please note, the league does not provide substitutes and if you miss a week, you are responsible for finding your substitute. If one is not found, the team takes that bowler's avg. in the team score, and the missing bowler must pay the normal weekly rate to the bowling alley when they return.
In 2024 we had this league in Flint, Grand Rapids, and Lansing. If you think there is enough interest to have a league in your city AND you are willing to be the point person in organizing and running it each week, contact nicholas@gaaysports.org to discuss in more detail!
Split Happens
This is our off-season league for those who love to bowl year-round. Teams of four people are handicapped to even the playing field after week 1; however, in this format, if you knock down 9 pins with your first ball, it counts as a STRIKE!
Lansing - Summer
Join us on Tuesday evenings beginning June 4th for our "Split Happens" league. This 9-pin no-tap format is a great way to put down the yard work, and head indoors to enjoy a relaxing beverage with friends while attempting to bowl! This 8-week league will cost you $20 to register and $13 per week for your lane fees, shoes, and ball. The start time is 7 PM at Royal Scot Bowling. Center.
Teams will consist of 4 bowlers (teams may register 5 bowlers and have a built-in substitute. Please note, if a bowler misses a week, they are responsible for the lane fees, so please find a sub to bowl for you). Don't have three friends that want to bowl, but still want to participate? No problem! Register as a solo bowler and we will pair you up with other people in the same situation and help create some new friendships!

Teams will consist of 4 bowlers (teams may register 5 bowlers and have a built-in substitute. Please note, if a bowler misses a week, they are responsible for the lane fees, so please find a sub to bowl for you). Don't have three friends that want to bowl, but still want to participate? No problem! Register as a solo bowler and we will pair you up with other people in the same situation and help create some new friendships!
