Kiss My GAAY Axe
Kiss My GAAY Axe is a welcoming and inclusive community for individuals of all gender identities and sexual orientations who have a passion for axe throwing. Our league provides a safe and supportive space for LGBTQIA+ individuals to come together, socialize, and participate in the thrilling sport of axe throwing.
Whether you're a seasoned axe thrower or a complete beginner, our league is open to individuals of all skill levels. We provide training and coaching to help members improve their axe throwing techniques and overall performance.
Our league aims to create an environment where everyone feels comfortable and accepted, regardless of their sexual orientation or gender identity. We celebrate diversity and embrace the unique perspectives and experiences that each member brings to the community.
Ages
Participants must be 18 years old to participate in this league.
When
We hope to continue to offer this league twice a year. Right now the plan is to offer it opposite of when we do shuffleboard. It looks like right now we will be offering this league in winter and summer, but that may change depending on Lansing Shuffle's completion.
Where
This league is held at Spartan Axe inside of Spare Time Entertainment near the Frandor Shopping Center in Lansing, MI.
Practices
There are no organized practices for this league. This is an individual sport so you can practice anytime you like on your own. Spartan Axe does typically offer participants a discount on throwing if you want to go in on off days but is subject to change based on their policies.
Games
Our leagues are all IATF sanctioned leagues. All IATF leagues are 8 weeks and consist of 7 weeks of regular season and the last week is a championship tournament. The regular season is 28 matches (avg. 4 per week). The tournament is double elimination.
WAIVER
You will need to upload a GAAY Sports Waiver to register for the league (available below). So it is suggested you download and sign this before you start to register.
In addition, you will be required by Spartan Axe to fill out their waiver the first night.

Kiss My GAAY Axe returns for season 4 AND returns to Wednesday evenings! Join us for this 8 week league that begins Feb. 28, 2024 and concludes on April 17, 2024. Participants will through 28 regular season matches (weeks 1-7) and week 8 is a double elimination tournament. All skill levels are welcome.
